CHOW TRUCK

Salt Lake City's Charlie Chow's Dragon Grill has a mobile Chow Truck, where patrons can enjoy tacos, sliders, calamari, and Asian-spiced root chips.  The truck's location and schedule vary.  Occasionally it serves a Chicago Red hot dog on a toasted poppy seed bun, Asian slaw, Vietnamese sweet & spicy sauce & yuzu pickle for $5.   Susan, Eric and Melanie enjoyed one while sitting in the REI parking lot.

Eric: "I liked it, but also I want tofu tacos, too"

Susan: "This dog was great, but I wanted more sauciness.  I left craving Chinese food."

MOOCHIE'S MEATBALLS AND MORE!

Moochie's has hot dogs, too.  It's name specifically says "meatballs and more!," so hot dogs fall squarely into the "more" category, along with macaroni & cheese, fried ravioli, and Tastykakes.  Most people get the Philly Cheesesteak or Meatball subs (sometimes with spicy Atomic jalapeƱo sauce).  But it's also not hard to believe that the hot dog is, like, really good, too.  Susan and Eric split a Moochie Dog: 1/4 lb fried hot dog, grilled pepperoni, dill pickles, red onions, special dill sauce, grilled onions, 2 slices of American cheese, and lettuce.

Eric: "I wish I had a whole one."

Susan: "THIS IS DELICIOUS.  One of the best I've had.  Guy Fieri totally let everyone down by not featuring this dog on Triple D, bro."

Crown Burgers is not the place to go if you want a hot dog.  It is better to get a burger or Reuben or gyro.  The hot dogs are functional, but not that great.  Susan got a hot dog.  Eric got a chili dog.

Eric:  "It's a chili dog"

Susan: "It's a hot dog."
