"Bruges Waffles & Frites" is a "taste of Europe" in the "heart of Salt Lake City."  They offer a Machine Gun Sandwich, which is really just a hot dog with fries on top.  That's actually not true, it is a "hearty lamb merguez sausage served on fresh baguette, stuffed with our famous fries and topped Andalouse sauce."  It's expensive.  It took a very long time to get.  But it was worth the trip.

Susan: "I really liked the sauce and the fries.  And the bread.  And the sausage.  Viva la Belgium!"

Eric: "I liked this, but also I wish I knew the Freakandel existed, because I probably would have liked that, too.  Delicious!"

Larry: "Um, the Machine Gun unleashed a load in my mouth...what?"

Thier motto is "Mean Dawgs, Nice Buns."  Wow.  J Dawgs offers Polish or beef dogs, but the group only ordered Polish dogs.  All the dogs are criss-cross-cut, and Eric REALLY liked how that made them into bite-sized chunks. J Dawgs is known for its special sauce; J Dawgs is also overrated.  But pretty good.

Eric: "I love this.  Bite-sized chunks!"

Susan: "This dog was the culinary equivalent of Love Actually: everyone kept telling me how much I'd love it, and it was underwhelming, actually"

Danny: "Always delicious."
**5**

Larry: "Quite a mouthful."

Five Guys is known for their hamburgers and fries, not for their hot dogs.  Susan, Larry and Eric tried the Kosher Style hot dog and Bacon Cheese dogs with various toppings.  They also had fries.  The hot dogs were split down the middle and grilled; the buns were grilled as well.  The dogs were delicious overall, but not memorable.

Eric: "I don't know what to say."

Susan: "I don't know what to say, either."

Larry: "Nothing."
